Norsk® Limited Lifetime Warranty

The Parallax Group International, LLC — manufacturer of Norsk products

Norsk products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a Limited Lifetime, beginning on the date of retail purchase. This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the product for the duration of its expected useful life under normal residential or commercial use conditions, as established by Norsk's published installation, maintenance, and care specifications in effect at the time of purchase. Coverage does not extend beyond the period during which the product is used in conformance with those specifications.. A 'defect' is defined as an imperfection that materially impairs the intended use of the product.

This warranty is non-transferable and is expressly limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of defective products. All defective products are to be returned to the retailer or website where they were originally purchased and are subject to that retailer’s return merchandise policy and agreement on file with The Parallax Group International, LLC.

General Exclusions

• Normal wear and tear (scratching, scuffing, fading, cosmetic damage, etc.).
• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, alteration, accident, negligence, or unreasonable use.
• Damage resulting from vandalism, natural disasters, or force majeure events beyond the manufacturer's control.
• Improper installation or failure to follow product instructions
• Damage caused by pets (chewing, scratching, urination, or fecal matter).
• Color variations due to production run differences, including exact color, shade, or mottling.
• Damage caused by chemicals, cleaning agents, or exposure to moisture, hydrostatic pressure, or alkali from the subfloor.
• Labor costs for installation, removal, or reinstallation.
• Shipping costs to return product for replacement, exchange, or refund.
• Any incidental or consequential damages (to the extent permitted by law).

Multi-Purpose Floor Tiles, Standing Mats & Rolled Mats

• Not intended for permanent or extended outdoor installations – particularly in environments with extended exposure to weather or in potentially slippery areas where the product can slide.
• Not compatible with environments where cooking oils, grease, or vegetable fats are present, as these may cause slips or microbial growth.
• Damage from golf spikes, high heels, or spiked shoes is excluded.
• Any damage resulting from use of incompatible chemicals such as methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) or Acetone. Adequate testing of all chemicals potentially exposed to the flooring should be conducted prior to installation.

PVC Floor Tiles

• Not intended for 100% outdoor installation; UV exposure may cause fading even with UV inhibitors.
• Allow for expansion in areas where direct sunlight contacts the tiles (e.g., near garage doors or south-facing exposures.)
• Any damage resulting from tire staining. Many tires contain 6PPD (p-phenylenediamine), which can cause staining when tires are hot and transfer chemicals onto flooring surfaces. Tires may also introduce in road chemicals that can stain flooring. Darker tiles (such as black) are recommended in garage areas. White tiles are not recommended nor warranted for use in these areas.
• Not compatible with environments where cooking oils, grease, or vegetable fats are present, as these may cause slips or microbial growth.
• Any/all damage resulting from the use of incompatible chemicals such as methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) or Acetone. Adequate testing of all chemicals potentially exposed to the flooring should be conducted prior to installation.

Wall Storage & Organization (NorskTrack™, NorskWall®, Related Accessories)

• Warranty void if used outside of published weight restrictions.
• Misuse from overloading or failure to adhere to guidelines is not covered.

Legal Limitations

Liability for incidental or consequential damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law. While every effort is made to embody the highest degree of safety in all Norsk products, freedom from injury cannot be guaranteed. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from the use of this product. All merchandise is sold on this condition, and no representative of the company may waive or change this policy.

The purchaser should pay special attention to all codes, laws, specifications, and ratings for products specifically used in play areas, playgrounds, and other recreational uses where the safety of children and others are concerned.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for use. Neither The Parallax Group International, LLC nor any representative assumes any other liability in connection with this product.

Warranty Claims

All Warranty Claims Must Be Accompanied By A Sales Receipt.

To make a claim:
1. Provide proof of purchase to norsk-store.com or the authorized retailer where the product was purchased.
2. Report the product defect to that retailer or to customerservice@norsk-store.com.
3. Claims will be processed according to the retailer’s return policy and Norsk’s agreement on file.
